There’s a new kid on the putter cover block, and he’s aiming to change the way you protect and accessorize your flatstick.
Mike Buchfuhrer, formerly of Kronos Putters, has launched Rose & Fire, which is dedicated to “progressing the craft of building headcovers.”
“We don’t follow industry trends of embroidering, using fake leather, and focusing on decorations,” Buchfuhrer says. “Every headcover is carefully designed and made in California with the best unique materials from around the world.”
Exhibit A is Rose & Fire’s Explorer Series Ballistic Nylon putter cover (pictured here). According to the product description: “Our Armed Forces still use this durable material for protective vests, heavy-duty bags, and anything where failure is not an option…We chose ballistic nylon for its strength and heritage. Decades of dependability have made it a classic. Its rugged weave is unmistakable and will distinguish your gear.”
This cover is made from 1050 denier ballistic nylon, and is water and stain resistant. It features a zippered coin storage pocket, a leather badge with an debossed logo, soft inner liner and loop handle on the toe for easy removal, carrying and fastening. It’s safe to say that Buchfuhrer put a little thought into this product…
Rose & Fire also offers driver and wood covers, including models made of pure raw denim and nylon MIL-SPEC camouflage. We’re told that many more covers are coming soon. Stay tuned at PutterZone for more details on this promising new golf cover company.
Looks fantastic!
