And the $11 million dollar putter is…an Odyssey White Hot XG Rossie. Indeed, that’s what Brandt Snedeker wielded on the greens en route to winning the Tour Chamionship and the Fed Ex Cup for golf’s biggest monetary prize.
We’re not surprised that it was a White Hot XG putter in the winner’s circle. In fact, it was almost expected that a White Hot XG would be there at the end.
Back in July, PutterZone.com was the first to note that Odyssey’s White Hot line has been on an epic run of late. Since then, Odyssey putters haven’t let up, and now they are poised to dominate the Ryder Cup as well. Odyssey putters have now notched 42 worldwide tour wins this year.
In other words, 2012 has been a very good year for both Odyssey putters and Mr. Brandt Snedeker.
A mate of mine has been using a nearly identical putter to this for years. He swears by it and feels it gives him better control and distance.
I prefer the more traditional shape but obviously the putter head is a personal choice.
