As reported earlier on PutterZone.com, Nike Golf is set to release its new Method Midnight putters, extending the original milled Method line with three models that now boast a darker “midnight” finish.
We have the Nike Method Midnight 006 model in hand, and can attest that it takes the Method aesthetic to a new level. The finish isn’t as dark as the name might suggest, but it looks quite crisp and sleek, with just the right amount of shimmer. The rear tungsten plugs in the bumpers are smooth, ditching the noisy pyramidal pattern of the earlier models. The paintfilled wording on the sole is slimmer and cleaner as well.
Most important, however, is that the Polymetal Groove Technology remains intact, and with it comes the magnificent feel that is a hallmark of the milled Method putters. Stay tuned for PutterZone.com’s Nike Method Midnight putter review.
