Piretti Fine Putters continues to come on strong in the custom milled putter market, with the new Piretti Forza heel-shafted mallet leading the company’s charge at the upcoming PGA Merchandise Show.
Today, as part of our ongoing advance coverage of the show, we take a closer look at the Forza and the vision behind it.
According to Piretti founder Mike Johnson, “The Forza is designed for the traditionalist and for golfers that favor an arc putting stroke.”
The Forza head is precision milled from a solid billet of 11L17 carbon steel. The face features a deep milling pattern to achieve a softer feel at impact. Another selling point is that the offset on the Forza was acheived through the milling process rather than by bending the neck.
According to Johnson, “This unique manufacturing and design approach dramatically improves the consistency of the offset and loft of the putter.”
The Piretti Forza putter has nearly full toe hang, and the head comes in weight options of 365 and 375 grams. You can also choose from a variety of lie angle, length and grip options at the point of purchase. The putter is available now for $295.
