When Boo Weekley avenged his heartbreak at the recent Honda Classic (including a miss on a crucial three-footer) by winning the Verizon Heritage Classic on Monday, he did it with the help of just 22 putts for a third-round score of 66, as executed with his Never Compromise Exchange Series putter. According to the folks at Never Compromise, Weekley just switched from the #2 model center-shafted mallet to the #7 model heel-shafted mallet (pictured here). This was his first tournament using the #7 model. The results are now in the bank.
In the words of Never Compromise, the Exchange Series “gives the player dozens of personal tuning options and more control over their putting than ever before.” Never Compromise has developed a dedicated Exchange Series web site, where you can view an educational video on the putters (click on the link titled “Behind The Ropes”), including comments from Weekley.
